Deather’s Leathers

Deather’s Leathers L.L.C. is owned by Heather Dorward, a Physical Therapist Assistant who works in Eureka, California, treating elderly patients be able to age at home within the community. Heather started doing leathercraft in the summer of 2021 when she inherited her uncle’s tools and vegan leather when he suddenly passed away at the age of 45. Heather taught herself how to do leather projects by watching hundreds of youtube videos and giving out tester wallets to co-workers for in exchange of feedback. When not doing leathercraft, Heather enjoys spending time with her wife and friends doing things outside, building legos and exploring coffee shops
