BlueRoomGlass

Hello, this is Annette and I personally handcraft beautiful stained glass works at my studio in Austin, TX. Everything from small sun catchers to larger commissioned pieces, but my favorite is combining stained glass and wind chimes. This is a nod to my parents who always had a chime or two on their front porch.

It brings a smile to my face when I find the perfect pieces of glass for a project. It then gets better as the semi-perfect cuts give way to perfection from grinding, all of the pieces then soldered together and finished with the perfect little touches. No two pieces are exactly the same.

The greatest joy, however, comes when someone sees a piece they love and a smile is brought to their face. I sincerely hope you find something you like and, if not, it would be my pleasure to create a beautiful custom piece just for you.

Casita Crafts

Hi! My name is Gabrielle, and I have been sewing since my grandma gifted me my first sewing machine for Christmas in the 4th grade. I had always wanted to sew, since my other grandma did it full time in Manila, handmaking Christmas ornaments for a living.

For years I mostly re-worked clothes, whether that be giving them a new life or making slight adjustments for a better fit. A little over a year ago, I was on the hunt for an everyday purse that met my needs. I had a vision that just couldn’t be met by any purse I came across, then I decided to just make my own! I’ve since made dozens of purses friends/family and I’m excited to start sharing my work at local markets.

I feel inspired by unique fabrics, which is why my items are made with secondhand fabric sourced from mostly local vintage and antique stores. I just love the idea of owning and creating something entirely novel, which is why I pride myself on making my own patterns and sourcing unique materials.

Plaid Design

I’m John Lathrop and I make Mod Pop Art.

Pop culture is family. We grew up with our movies, our music, our novels, our TV, our video games. Pop culture can provide positive influence, impact, and comfort, especially that which is nostalgic. In this spirit, I utilize pop culture as my primary subject matter to conjure feelings of warmth, joy, and humor by adding fun, unexpected twists (the Mod) and shining brightly-colored lights (the Pop) on the people, places, and things (the Art) so many of us have admired and adored throughout our lives. And I do it without judgment or commentary, but with genuine reverence, homage, and love.

My mixed-media approach combines hand-painted digital artwork with graphic design techniques to create my vibrant, colorful clean-line style. Drawing inspiration primarily from pop culture, my graphic portrait and poster work breathes new life into classic and current references, putting a fun, original spin on pop surrealism, often with a twist of humor and absurdist parody. Also inspired by mosaic art, much of my recent work explores patterns, shapes, and color, specifically the beautiful dichotomy between the harmony of meticulously gradiented monochromatic hues and chaotic randomness. The result, I hope, is bold and striking eye-candy, with a vibe that feels vintage, yet unmistakably modern.

Queso‘s Quest is about an anxious orange tabby with a dream to inspire creatives everywhere. In order to show his inner dragon, he wears bandanas that suit his mood, ranging from sushi and cardboard boxes to Hawaiian floral designs.

Our motto is: Life is better with cats and books.

and experience with others.

I hail from the Midwest, where corn and mayonnaise are main-stays in most meals, white bread & tomato sandwiches are a summer staple, and pierogi reign supreme.

I received my formal culinary education at the Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh, PA. This is where I truly unlocked my passion for all-things culinary, as well as the power of the pierogi. I began making pierogi in my small studio apartment on days off and after school. I enjoying in the experimentation of different fillings and doughs, while still maintaining the authenticity and heritage of these potato filled delights. Upon graduating from LCB PA, I received my culinary masters at The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia. Shortly thereafter, I found myself in the Lone Star State Capital, working as the Banquet Chef at he W Austin Hotel and then Executive Chef at the AT&T Center
on the UT Campus.

After a successful re-opening of my property during the Covid 19
pandemic, I decided it was finally time to pursue my dream of one
day running my own company, where I could share my love of
food, flavor, and pierogi with the public.

Which brings us to here. Just three short years, one food truck,
multiple farmers markets, and a dozen retail locations later, I can’t
wait to share unique pierogi vision and experience with you.

Rumbargar Woodworks

We are Oregon born but transplants to Austin, Texas. My hobby resurfaced while I was stationed overseas in Italy. After an airborne accident, I found myself needing a hobby and to help with my recovery; that’s where I found my comfort in the woodshop. While my time in the Army was coming to a end, my woodworking hobby was turning into a passion. This passion turned into the creation of Rumbarger WoodWorks. Once I got back into woodworking I knew I wanted to turn it into something. After returning to the states with the fam and planting our new home in Austin, Texas, I began to go to school for nursing which turned into a degree of Environmental Science while doing my woodworking on the side. As the business is beginning to grow, it has now become full time.

The Bluebonnet Barn

I am a proud entrepreneur and the heart behind The Bluebonnet Barn, a business rooted in my passion for creativity and family. Living on a small farm in Georgetown, TX, I am a dedicated stay-at-home mom to two children. With a rich history of entrepreneurial roots in my family, I sought to combine my love for design and motherhood by creating a business that allows me to stay home while providing for my family.

Before founding The Bluebonnet Barn, I spent a decade as a wedding coordinator, where I honed my skills in event planning, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction. Today, I channel those years of experience into my business, specializing in crafting unique, seasonal felt flowers that are one-of-a-kind in design. In addition to my handcrafted creations, I offer a ‘Build Your Own Bouquet Bar’ experience, allowing customers to create personalized floral arrangements that reflect their own style and creativity.

I am passionate about inspiring others to explore their creative side, which is why I offer workshops designed to teach and inspire individuals to craft and design. With a strong work ethic and a commitment to growing my business, I am living my dream, and I treasure every moment spent building a business that brings joy, creativity, and community together.
