Mother Wolf Candle Co. gained its foundations through my own curiosity and need to create products that are headache/migraine-friendly. As a chronic migraine sufferer, I had stopped using candles and home fragrances as almost all the products I’ve encountered would trigger my migraines. My background as a registered nurse fed my curiosity to search for the underlying causes of what ingredients in candles and home fragrances trigger headaches/migraines and create products that support those who are very sensitive to scent. Each scent blend I create is inspired by my own nature memories (places I’ve hiked, camped, traveled to, etc,) in Colorado and beyond. Our mission is to not only provide a product for those who are scent sensitive to enjoy, but also tie our connections back to nature conservation efforts specifically through wolf and wolf-hybrid education and sanctuary. We donate a portion of our profits to W.O.L.F Sanctuary in Red Feather Lakes as they helped us rescue one of our three dogs.

Haiku is the work of Denver artist Dave Pendleton and is also the name of this small robot, imagined to be fashioned from discarded boxes. With a reflective personality, Haiku’s quiet observations finds simple, natural objects and ideas to be fascinating, worthy and beautiful.

The design for these works is influenced by two Japanese contributions. Following the spirit of a written haiku, the artwork is brief in line and imagery, encouraging curiosity and enjoyment of the natural beauty of simplicity. Wabi-sabi is another Japanese idea that inspires these works. Characteristics of the wabi-sabi aesthetic include asymmetry, roughness, simplicity, economy, austerity, modesty, and intimacy.

Each Haiku exists well on it’s own, but the design of each piece is an open ended scene, making them perfect to combine multiple pieces in endless ways to create your own personal Haiku series.

Hi! I’m Maddie, owner and artist behind MISC. Pottery. I am a ceramic artist based in Denver, CO. I throw, hand build, sculpt, carve, and hand paint all of my pieces. I love making silly little things as well as things that feel good to hold. I focus on functional art because I love something that can be used and has an artistic flair to it. I draw a lot of inspiration from nature, specifically florals and birds, but I also find the creativity of fiction and fantasy to be a driving force in my work. Agostina is an architect, artist, and passionate traveler originally from Argentina. A graduate of the National University of Córdoba (2017), she is a self-taught artist best known for her intricate, highly detailed drawings, often created using the meticulous Stippling technique.

Her journey as an artist truly began in 2018, when she set off on a life-changing road trip from the U.S. to Argentina. Over the course of a year and a half, she traveled through 14 countries across North and South America, documenting the adventure with pen and paper. Mallory Cash is known for her vibrant impressionistic landscape oil paintings. As a former pet portrait artist, she has painted well over 7,000 pets. During which she traveled in a self-converted van across the US and Canada, taking inspirational photos of the locations she visited, knowing one day she would paint them. When the pandemic hit, she felt the need to create something cheerful and knew to reflect on the inspirational places she visited in her travels. By using vibrant colors as her palette, reference photos as her guide, and reflecting on her experience in each location, she creates scenes that reveal more than a photo can convey. I create handmade, new jewelry with refurbished vintage pieces from Italian antique markets that I personally hunt and make each year.

I only use real pearls and hand string them myself. My other items are bracelets, rings and earrings, all using Italian vintage coins and other vintage items.

I use many different techniques to create my art. I search for vintage/antique jewelry, that has basically been destroyed, and refurbish it so that it can be used in a modern jewelry piece again. I also find vintage items that are not jewelry and use them to create new pieces. For example, I will find old brass decorative elements on an antique wardrobe and cut/rework them into pendants for my modern jewelry creations.

I take the art of wine and transform it into wine art for other wine lovers all over the world. I often paint using corks as my paintbrush to further my connection to the wine. Wine means so much to so many people, and that’s what I connect to when I paint.

I connect to all of the passion, dedication and energy from the winemakers that has gone into making that beautiful bottle of wine.

I connect to the wine itself. Its beautiful colors and the way it tastes. The history, traditions and time that are wrapped up in those grapes.

I connect to the way wine brings people together. We share a common love for the wine itself, as well as the community that it encourages.

I’m biased here, I know that. But oil paints can’t do that. Watercolors aren’t like that. Acrylics don’t have that weight. But wine does. It’s the only medium that has already started off as art, and I get to turn it into a completely different expression of art.

Erin Marie King is a contemporary abstract painter in Denver, CO. Her artistic practice is a way of being present and feeling grateful. She finds inspiration everywhere and collects these tidbits like artifacts—daily rhythms, a striking color combination, an interesting outfit, the way light shines through the kitchen in the morning, wildflowers adorning a mountain trail, and on and on… Erin savors these relics of life—of love, of care, of celebration, of relaxation, of community—and translates them into somewhat off-kilter expressive abstraction, giving these moments a new perspective.

Her paintings are brought to life via free and intuitive compositions, large blocks of color, abstracted forms, and gestural mark making. Adding layers, undoing layers—Erin’s process is an iterative journey of building up texture and scraping away areas of transparency to reveal the layers below. Plus, she likes things a bit awkward, even “ugly,” so she sprinkles a little grit across all her works.

Born in Japan and raised in Colorado, Robert Bell developed an early connection to art through drawing and painting the people in natural landscapes. Influenced by his parents’ Eastern roots and a lifelong exposure to diverse visual cultures, his work reflects a deep engagement with identity, movement, and transformation. He earned a BFA in Graphic Design from Colorado State University and completed graduate studies in Studio Art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
